You wake up in a smoke-filled room. You have no recollection of who you are or how you ended up here. A woman is seated at a table in front of you. Underneath her broadbrimmed hat, she gives you a smile that shows no mirth.
Futaboros is a dark fantasy roguelike about a nameless futanari trapped in an infinite loop. Defeat depraved enemies in turn based combat, acquire new skills and navigate the sunless world of The Ouroboros with the fate board.
Will you reclaim your lost memories? Or will you succumb to despair?

Anvil and sanctuary don't work together. If you have stacks of anvil when you end turn, they're consumed but don't give any benefit.
In v4 I've found a few glitches and unintended interactions.
1. The combo ability counts when you click on a card rather than when you use it. So if you have an open card of each type you can gain infinite energy.
2. You can mash E to trigger end turn affects like the fortify on end turn or to clear out doom stacks on yourself (by eating them all at once). Mostly it's stacking fortify if you get the power to do so and making the game trivial.
3. The ability that gives you bonus attack and defense if you have starter or basic abilities isn't counting some ability as basic. Whenever I get it I only have 2 stacks even if all 9 abilities are basic/starter, and I don't know which one isn't counting.
Thanks for letting me know. I should be able to fix the first two issues just fine. I think I know what's going on with Mighty Meek too.
These fixes will be pushed with the next build.
New one: The goblin that trades 75 gold for a passive just gave me a blank passive. A blank spot that just says "Passive <Null>".
Side note, I would like if in these scenarios it showed what passive I'm going to get as I get them, like I do for active abilities.
EDIT: Apparently that screen does, but because it was null I didn't notice :V

Is it safe?
I'm guessing it's spitting out a security warning because I didn't use Codesign on the .exe. I'll have to change that in the future.
Alright, it turns out that trojan.heuristic is a warning that an antivirus spits out when it's not actually sure if an .exe is good or bad. It's based on how many times a .exe has been run by its users (in this case, I'm presuming not many).
So, I can reassure you that it's not a trojan.
Not bad, artwork is a bit rough but the game itself is pretty cool. Love the way how the "choose your next action" is illustrated by tarot cards and it fits the vibe well. Overall it's a solid game and I can see it pop off in the future.
Will there be any futa-on-male?

I have encountered some issues and have bit of a critique.
-For some reason the game really wants to be on my second monitor, I've never had this issue before and have no idea what would be causing it. If I use borderless it goes onto my 2nd monitor but not properly aligned and the cursor isn't in the right spot, if I use fullscreen it works fine but closing and reopening the game puts it on my 2nd.
-Progressing the tutorial should be called on click rather than listening for the click every update.
-Some "start of combat" effects weren't working, namely Jumpstart and demon Seed.
-Sanctuary didn't work either.
-Entering the succubus encounter seems to always cause a crash, has happened 4 times so far.
-I don't think Yellow Jesters encounter actually works, I haven't noticed any duplication.
-Three enemy encounters are much more deadly than a Memory encounter if you don't have good aoe which makes it feel really bad to lose to the rng of getting no aoe and multiple 3 enemy fights. Should probably save them for later encounters or make weaker enemies specifically for early game triple battles.
-Having both the attacks and the passives named as "skills" is not an ideal design, sure they can be differentiated as active and passive skills but there should be more distinction in the names. As an example from my first loop: I encountered the cat and got a "special skill" assuming it would be passive and was right, later I encountered a Jester and was offered a "random skill" which I wrongly assumed would be passive but was active, next Jester specified passive skill and the next specified active... but I think it would be better to name them differently rather than just specifying every time. I would consider renaming passive skills to sentiments or something.
It is a very promising game. I'd be happy to help with troubleshooting or even playtesting if you need someone.

- I believe it's due to a setting in the project, I've changed it to be set to be primary monitor in the next build

- That's a fair criticism, I can tune the difficulty curve a bit
- I can see how that gets confusing too, calling them sentiments or mementos would make them distinct at a glance
I'll push a new build today. My goal for now is to make sure the game is fully functional and doesn't have any hard crashes.
I did a full loop but didn't encounter any adult content. Just unlucky?
The current scenes in the game are either defeat scenes or tied to specific events. Just unlucky.
However, this does mean I need to work on the delivery of the h-content.
I thought that might be the case, I lost the first fight on purpose after but just got sent back to the start screen. I guess it's only certain fights
Memory of a Mage, Memory of a Vampire, Fallen Priest and the boss of act 1 currently have defeat scenes.
so i have only tried one run which crashed at my fourth event card, but completly seperate from the gameplay: do you have a clue why the game always opens up on my secondary monitor?
One of the events in the new build is causing a crash (the yellow jester). I've fixed it, but I'm waiting on further bug reports before uploading a new build.
I had it set to go to the screen where the mouse was. I have a single monitor setup, so I completely missed this. I'll change it to be set to the primary screen. Thanks for letting me know.
so my mouse was on the second screen on my first opening, but not on any subsequent openings. is there any way i could make it forget which screen it was first opened on(so you wouldnt have to necessarily change it)?
Not that I am aware of, sorry. I hope the changes in the next build will solve your issue.
It opened on my 2nd monitor too. I toggled fullscreen on and off and it jumped to my 1st monitor. Hope this works for you too!
The corruption mechanic doesn't appear to function. After events that say they increase corruption, your corruption status stays at 0%.
